A silk and wool accented Kevin Walz Shakti weave rug in deep plum. Hand knotted in Nepal, Astro Plum is a mostly silk area rug with wool accents using our smooth, Shakti weave with a pile height around 0.28 inches. The silk is a gorgeous deep purple, however keep in mind that the colors will vary greatly with different lighting source and intensity because of the high shimmer of the silk. The wool accent colors are golden taupe, black, and steel blue. The high silk content lends an extremely soft and luxurious feel to this carpet. Astro Plum is a great rug to consider for lower traffic areas such as a bedroom, office or living room. This rug is available in a variety of sizes and is ready for immediate shipping.

Cleaning and Care
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
